GVT6 Glyn Valley Tramway 4-Ton Goods Van
Two large 4 Ton vans for the conveying of perishable goods were supplied to the GVT by the Midland Railway Carriage and Wagon Co. in late 1893. Originally numbered 1 & 2, these sturdy goods vans have doors on both sides and a curved whitemetal buffer with integral 3 link coupling for coupling to coaches. A second drop hook coupling is supplied for hooking up to smaller wagons. Construction is of mahogany with plywood frame and fixed aluminium roof. Whitemetal and brass detailing parts are provided.
Available in 32mm and 45mm gauge.
