WHR/NWNGR Ashbury Buffet Car Based on the famous Ashbury Buffet Car converted after the demise of the WHR, this model is supplied full height to match with our other WHR/NWNGR stock. Originally the two NWNGR coaches began life as all third, with two seats down one side of the coach and a single row down the other side. This allowed a “corridor” for access down the length of the coach. One coach was supplied or soon converted to a first/third composite by addition of a partition. During the Ffestiniog period this was converted to a buffet car by the addition of a second partition to give a first-third-buffet split. The first class saloon remaining as half of the coach.
